Somali Customers Visit Haomei For Inspection

In May 2025, a group of 5 Somali customers visited Haomei Machinery for a technical inspection of core products such as concrete batching plants and forced concrete mixers.

Accompanied by our technical director and sales director, the customers visited the intelligent production workshop, product display center and R&D laboratory. At the concrete batching plant production line, the technicians introduced in detail the company’s independently developed HZS series concrete batching plant, which adopts a twin-shaft forced concrete mixer design and has an efficient production capacity of 25-240 cubic meters per hour, which can meet the needs of projects of different scales. According to the technical department, the twin-shaft forced concrete mixer independently developed by our company adopts wear-resistant alloy coating technology. Its service life can reach 2.3 times that of traditional equipment in the high temperature and dry environment of Africa. Its modular design can achieve rapid disassembly and assembly within 48 hours, which is very suitable for engineering needs in remote areas of Somalia.​

“The modular design and rapid installation characteristics of the equipment are critical to Somalia’s current emergency infrastructure projects.” The technical director of the delegation said during the inspection that Somalia is promoting major projects such as natural gas receiving terminals and photovoltaic power station expansion, and urgently needs efficient and reliable engineering machinery support. The company’s mobile mixing station YHZS series mobile concrete batching plant is particularly suitable for construction needs in remote areas due to its flexible deployment capabilities.

In the intelligent control room, the delegation focused on the PLC fully automatic control system. The system uses the Internet of Things technology to achieve a raw material ratio error of ≤1%, and can transmit production data to the cloud management platform in real time. “The environmental protection indicators of the equipment are particularly in line with our needs.” The customer pointed out that the pulse dust removal device equipped in our concrete batching plant has a dust emission concentration of less than 20mg/m³, which meets the latest standards of the Somali Environmental Protection Agency.

In the factory’s conference room, the two sides held a technical discussion on the current status of Somalia’s infrastructure. In view of the high temperature and dry climate conditions in Somalia, the company proposed to optimize the material of the concrete mixer blades and use wear-resistant alloy coating to extend the service life. In view of the large fluctuation of the moisture content of local aggregates, our company proposed the solution of installing a microwave moisture detector; in view of the problem of salt spray corrosion in coastal areas, it is recommended to use hot-dip galvanized steel structure and anti-corrosion coating process. These targeted solutions have been highly recognized by Somali customers.

Finally, the two parties reached a preliminary cooperation intention. The visit of Somali customers is not only an important milestone in the company’s internationalization strategy, but also marks a new height of cooperation between China and Somalia in the field of infrastructure. With the in-depth implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative, Haomei Machinery will continue to use technological innovation as an engine to inject Chinese power into African infrastructure construction.
