Among the many types of concrete mixers, SICOMA mixers are the ideal choice for numerous projects thanks to their superior performance, reliable quality and wide applicability. The MAO series, a classic standard model among SICOMA twin shaft mixers, is widely used worldwide, encompassing a wide range of applications, including ready-mixed concrete mixing, precast component production, block manufacturing and dam construction. Over 6,000 units are in use worldwide, producing over 1 million cubic yards of concrete daily.
A variety of SICOMA mixer models meet the needs of projects of all sizes:
– SICOMA MAO 1500:
With a dry material filling capacity of 1500L and a compaction output of 1000L, it features 2 x 22kW mixing power and weighs approximately 4.5 tons. It is suitable for small construction sites and precast component plants, efficiently meeting small-scale concrete production needs. For example, in infrastructure construction projects in small towns, the SICOMA MAO 1500, with its compact size and flexible operation, provides reliable concrete mixing support for road repairs and small-scale building construction.
With a dry material filling capacity of 2000L, a compaction output of 1500L, and an increased mixing power of 2 × 30kW, the machine weighs approximately 5.5 tons. It is suitable for medium-sized ready-mixed concrete batching plants and precast component plants. In medium-sized real estate development projects in cities, the MAO 2000 ensures a stable and efficient supply of concrete, ensuring construction progress and quality.
– SICOMA MAO 3000:
With a dry material filling capacity of 3000L, a compaction output of 2000L, a mixing power of 2 × 37kW, and a weight of approximately 7.5 tons, it is commonly used in large-scale ready-mixed concrete batching plants, large precast component manufacturers, and some large-scale infrastructure construction projects. For projects like large bridge construction and high-rise building complexes, the MAO 3000’s large capacity and high mixing power ensure a continuous, high-volume supply of concrete.
– SICOMA MAO 4000:
With a dry material filling capacity of 4000L, a compaction output of 2500L, a mixing power of 2 x 55kW, and a weight of approximately 10 tons, it primarily serves ultra-large concrete production projects, such as large-scale water conservancy projects and ultra-large-scale urban construction projects. In these projects, the MAO 4000’s powerful performance advantages are fully demonstrated, enabling long-term, high-intensity, stable operation to ensure high-quality concrete production.
– SICOMA MAO 6000:
As the largest model in the SICOMA MAO series, it has a dry material filling capacity of 6000L, a compaction output of 4000L, a mixing power of up to 2 x 75kW, and a weight of approximately 15 tons. It is suitable for large-scale national-level projects with high concrete demand, such as large cross-sea bridges and large hydropower projects. Its large capacity and powerful power meet the massive, high-quality concrete demands of these mega-projects.
The SICOMA MAO twin-shaft concrete mixer offers the following notable features:
– Mixing System:
The mixing blades are constructed of high-hardness nickel-hard cast iron, with a hardness of at least 600HB. This provides excellent wear resistance, ensuring they remain in excellent working condition even during prolonged, high-intensity mixing operations. This effectively extends blade replacement cycles and reduces equipment maintenance costs. The mixing arm is constructed of ductile iron and securely bolted to the mixing shaft, ensuring stability and reliability during high-speed mixing. It can withstand the enormous mixing torque and ensure efficient mixing.
– Lubrication and Sealing:
Equipped with an advanced automatic lubrication system, this system uses liquid grease to lubricate the sealing areas of the mixing shaft. Precisely controlled grease supply is provided by an electric pump and a sequential distributor, ensuring constant lubrication of the seals. This effectively improves the performance and life of the shaft seals, significantly reduces leakage, and ensures concrete quality and equipment operation.
– Drive Motor:
The mixing motor utilizes high-quality H-class insulation and IP55 protection. It offers excellent heat resistance, dust and water resistance, and is suitable for harsh operating environments such as high temperatures, humidity, and dust. The motor undergoes special tropicalization treatment, making it suitable for diverse climates and ensuring stable operation in both hot tropical regions and cold high-latitude areas. Furthermore, the motor’s voltage complies with European standards, meeting the power grid requirements of various regions around the world and facilitating widespread application.
SICOMA concrete mixers offer a variety of models to meet diverse project needs. Each model offers excellent mixing performance and durability, suitable for a variety of concrete formulations, and is widely used in construction, infrastructure, and precast component production. Designed with user experience in mind, the advanced control system ensures easy operation and maintenance, meeting the high standards of the modern construction industry.
