Fully Automatic Mobile Concrete Batching Plant

November 3, 2025

A fully automatic mobile concrete batching plant is a concrete production equipment that integrates material storage, weighing, conveying, mixing, unloading, and a fully automated control system into a single trailer unit. Fully automatic mobile concrete batching plants are primarily used in concrete production scenarios requiring frequent relocation, flexible work schedules, or locations far from fixed batching plants, and are particularly suitable for field and mobile construction needs.

Structural components of a fully automatic mobile concrete batching plant:

– Main chassis:

Cantilevered, including the trailer truck’s towing pin and parking outriggers. The chassis houses the mixer, cement and water admixture weighing scales, and is surrounded by inspection walkways and railings.

– Control room:

Located at the bottom of the main chassis, it houses the fully automatic control system of the mobile concrete batching plant. During operation, it serves as the front support point for the entire concrete batching plant. During relocation and transportation, the control room is retracted and stored within the support structure, without requiring disassembly of any control wiring.

– Aggregate batching and metering system:

Located at the rear of the entire mobile concrete plant, the upper part is the aggregate storage hopper, which can be divided into 2 or 4 compartments and equipped with extension plates to increase storage capacity. It uses pneumatic sequential door opening operation. Aggregate metering employs a cumulative metering method for multiple materials. The bottom is equipped with a rear axle for movement and support legs for the working frame.

– Belt conveyor frame:

This is a truss structure connecting the main chassis and the aggregate batching frame. It houses the belt conveyor frame, integrating the main chassis, belt conveyor frame, and batching frame into a single unit forming the main structure of the entire mobile concrete batching plant.

– External components:

Primarily including the cement silo and screw conveyor, these are integral components during both operation and transportation, requiring no disassembly and allowing for complete transport and assembly/disassembly.

Working principle of the fully automatic mobile concrete batching plant:

A loader loads aggregates such as sand and gravel into the aggregate bin, which then sequentially enters the weighing hopper through a discharge gate for weighing. Water and admixtures are pumped into the water and admixture weighing hoppers via pipelines, respectively. A screw conveyor feeds cement from the cement silo into the cement weighing hopper for weighing. After all materials are weighed, the aggregates are fed into the mixing unit via a belt conveyor, while cement, water, and admixtures are simultaneously discharged into the mixer for mixing. Once mixing is complete, the concrete is discharged into a concrete mixer truck through the discharge port.

Technical parameters of fully automatic mobile concrete batching plant:

The technical parameters of different models of fully automatic mobile concrete batching plants vary. Taking YHZS60 and YHZS75 mobile concrete batching plant as examples, the theoretical production rate of YHZS60 is 60 m³/h, with a metering range of 3000 kg ± 2% for sand and gravel and 720 kg ± 1% for cement. The total power is approximately 85 kW, and the total weight is 24 t. The theoretical production rate of YHZS75 is 75 m³/h, with a metering range of 3750 kg ± 2% for sand and gravel and 900 kg ± 1% for cement. The total power is approximately 105 kW, and the total weight is 27 t.

Main features of fully automatic mobile concrete batching plants:

– Convenient mobility:

Primarily available in towed and trailer-mounted types, the entire concrete plant, except for the screw conveyor and cement silo, can be moved by lowering the front end. Disassembled accessories can be taken with the plant. The maximum allowable towing speed is approximately 50 km/h.

– Rapid assembly and disassembly:

Installation only requires leveling and hardening the ground. With the assistance of a 30-ton crane, it can be in place and put into production on the same day, making it ideal for projects with tight schedules.

– High degree of automation:

Equipped with a fully automatic control system, the entire mobile concrete batching plant is controlled by a computer system. Operators can monitor and operate the plant from the control room via displays and buttons, reducing labor costs.

– Accurate metering:

The material storage and weighing system uses sensitive scales and mixers to ensure accurate material metering. The mixing host employs advanced mixing technology and processes, achieving thorough mixing and uniform distribution of concrete, ensuring stable concrete quality.

– Wide range of applications:

Suitable for mobile construction projects requiring frequent relocation, such as railways, bridges, ports, and hydropower projects. It can also be used in infrastructure construction and real estate projects.
