Hopper Lift Concrete Batching Plant

September 2, 2025

A hopper lift concrete batching plant is a common type of concrete mixing equipment. It uses a hopper to lift aggregates and other materials into the main mixer for mixing. The main models of HZS concrete batching plant include the HZS25, HZS35, HZS50 and HZS75, these models are named based on their theoretical hourly production capacity.

HZS25 concrete batching plant:

The theoretical production capacity is 25 m³/h, with an actual production capacity of approximately 15-20 cubic meters per hour. This model is a simple concrete batching plant configuration suitable for small-scale construction projects.

HZS35 concrete batching plant:

The theoretical production capacity is 35 m³/h, with an actual production capacity of approximately 25 m³/h. This model is also a simple concrete batching plant configuration and can be used for small projects with low concrete demand.

HZS50 concrete batching plant:

This small to medium-sized concrete batching plant configuration has a theoretical production capacity of 50 m³/h and an actual production capacity of approximately 35-40 m³/h, meeting the needs of medium-sized and small projects.

HZS75 concrete batching plant:

A medium-sized construction concrete mixing plant configuration typically uses the JS1500 main unit with a climbing bucket loading system. Its theoretical output is 75 m³/h. Its electronic control system includes either a simple centralized control system or a fully automatic computerized control system.

Operating Principle of Hopper Lift Concrete Batching Plant:

The hopper of a hopper lift concrete mixing plant uses a braked winch, pulled by a pulley system and wire ropes, to raise and lower the hopper. Large and medium-sized plants often use a dual-wire rope drive system; smaller plants generally employ a single-rope drive system, either suspended directly or with a single-rope guide on the hopper.

Structural Features of Hopper Lift Concrete Mixing Plant:

– Small Footprint:

Compared to plants with inclined belt conveyor loading, hopper lift concrete mixing plants can save one-third to two-thirds of floor space, making them suitable for projects with limited space.

– Flexible Installation:

Some concrete mixing plants, such as the compact bucket concrete mixing plant, feature a highly modular design. These concrete batching plants are divided into a main building module, a track module, and a metering module. Installation requires no dedicated foundation and can be directly installed on a flat, hardened surface. The initial installation of the main station takes only two days, and relocation is easy.

– Environmentally Friendly:

Elevator loading ensures a fully enclosed aggregate lifting process, eliminating dust spillage. This also eliminates secondary contamination of slurry caused by water flushing during conveyor belts, reducing wastewater generation.

– High Metering Accuracy:

The overall metering system features a scientifically designed structure, such as the HZS50 bucket elevator concrete mixing plant, which eliminates any negative impacts on the powder scale. This ensures precise weighing of powders, liquid admixtures, and aggregates.

Applicable Scenarios of Hopper Lift Concrete Batching Plant:

– Small-scale construction projects, such as rural self-built houses and small factory buildings, require relatively small amounts of concrete. Hopper lift concrete batching plants, with their compact footprint and flexible installation, can meet these needs.

– Medium-scale construction projects, such as road and bridge construction and concrete product precast plants, are widely used in these applications. With a theoretical production rate of up to 50 m³/h, the HZS50 hopper lift concrete batching plant can meet the concrete supply needs of medium-sized projects.

– Overseas Construction Projects: For overseas projects, especially those with short construction periods and small volumes, compact bucket-lift concrete batching plants offer advantages such as easy transportation, quick assembly and disassembly, and cost savings, making them a preferred choice for overseas construction.

Hopper lift concrete batching plants, due to their high efficiency, stability, and small footprint, have become the preferred equipment for many concrete production companies. As the construction industry continues to develop, mixing plant technology is also advancing to meet the growing demand for concrete production.
