Precast Concrete Batching Plant

January 26, 2026

As a technician at Haomei Machinery with many years of experience in the concrete batching plant equipment field, I firmly believe that the core value of a precast concrete batching plant is not simply its production capacity, but rather the continuous control over concrete homogeneity and metering accuracy during long-term, high-intensity operation, as well as the control of maintenance costs throughout the equipment’s entire lifecycle. Our main precast concrete batching plant products cover the HZS25 to HZS240 series of dedicated precast mixing plants, corresponding to theoretical capacities of 25m³/h to 240m³/h. We can match the production needs of precast component plants of different sizes as required, a point particularly evident in our export projects serving various working conditions worldwide.

The consistency requirements for concrete quality in precast components far exceed those for on-site casting. Even deviations within the national standard’s allowable range can lead to insufficient splicing precision and reduced durability of components. We employ a twin-shaft forced-action mixer with blades made of Cr20Mo high-chromium alloy. The gap between the blades and the liner is strictly controlled within 5mm. Combined with an optimized rotation speed of 35r/min, this ensures that the homogeneity error of concrete of different strength grades (C30-C55) is ≤5%, and extends the blade life to over 8000 hours, 1.5 times that of blades made of ordinary materials.

The metering system is the soul of precision. The metering accuracy of aggregates, cement, water, and admixtures is controlled within ±2%, ±1%, ±1%, and ±1% respectively. These seemingly minor differences directly determine the strength and stability of precast components. We have abandoned the integrated metering hopper design and adopted a three-scale independent metering scheme. The powder scale is equipped with a fully enclosed IP68-level sensor, effectively avoiding interference from dust, temperature, and humidity. Combined with the automatic drop compensation function of the PLC system, it can correct metering deviations in real time. This demonstrates strong adaptability in export projects in the high-temperature and high-humidity regions of Southeast Asia.

For customers, stable equipment operation translates directly to profitability. Industry data shows that unexpected downtime can cause losses of up to $125,000 per hour, which was a core consideration in our design. The powder silo of our concrete batching plant uses a 60° conical inclination angle paired with a 0.6-0.8MPa air-blowing arch-breaking device to fundamentally solve the problems of aggregate bridging and powder blockage. The hydraulic discharge gate uses dual-cylinder control, with an opening time of ≤3 seconds, and is equipped with dual limit switches to prevent leakage and jamming.

Green and intelligent features are not optional extras, but essential requirements. Our mixing plants come standard with a three-stage sedimentation tank and filter press, achieving a wastewater reuse rate of ≥80%. The fully enclosed external enclosure design ensures daytime noise levels of ≤70dB, meeting environmental standards in Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. The electrical system uses a Siemens S7-1200 PLC, supporting the storage of 100 recipes and remote operation and maintenance. This adapts to the large-scale production of precast concrete batching plants and allows customers to easily monitor equipment status in real time, reducing operation and maintenance costs.

Ultimately, the competitiveness of a precast concrete batching plant lies in the technological accumulation in every detail. From the selection of materials for wear-resistant components to the precise calibration of the metering system, from the compliant adaptation of environmentally friendly designs to the meticulous control of operation and maintenance costs, this is the most solid technical foundation we have when providing equipment to global customers.
